Trooper P. P. Dicks report" ed three wrecks over the weekend, two single vehicle crashes and a head on collision. However no serious personal Injury resulted. At 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning a 1956 DeSota proceeding west on Route 211 two miles west of Sperryville jumped the guard rail, went over the bank and was on fire when discovered. There was no driver at the scene and a search of the - surrounding woods revealed npthlng. A check disclosed that -the vehicle was owned by John E. Moses of Fayettville, W. Va. and had been reported stolen in Washington D. C. some. time Saturday night. Sperryville Fire Department I responded to the fire and extinguished it, but the vehicle’s Interior was gutted. Rappahannock Rescue Squad was also called, but not needed. Trooper Dicks said investigation continues by the District Police and Virginia State Police Dept.
