Mrs. Patzig Hostess To Bridge Group

Mrs. R. E. Patzig entertained at dessert Bridge on Friday evening at her home near Sperryville with the following guests present: Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. R. Eugene Wood, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. James William Coates, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. T, J. Pillar, Mrs. E. N. Montague, Mrs. I. O. Wolf and Mrs. Brown Millet; Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Wolf, Mrs. Coates, Mrs. Montague and Mrs. Kilby.

Birthday Party

Mrs. J. M. Durden of Sperryville entertained on Saturday, December 7th from 3 to 5 p. m. for her daughter Barbara Ann who celebrated her 10th birthday. Her guests included Beverly and Judy Atkins, Cassie Coates, Janet Panye, Bill and Mary Moore Kilby, C. B. Johnson, C. E. Dodson, Frank Coffey and Warren Lee Smith. Many gifts were received by the honoree. The door prize went to C. B. Johnson. Refreshments were served to the group by the hostess assisted by her daughter Miss Gloria Durden. The youngsters were directed in games by Bonnie Durden.
