The Supervisors of the Culpeper Soil Conservation District held a banquet meeting at the Lord Culpeper Hotel, Wednesday, December 5, to honor Mr. John A. Smart, a career area conservationist of Charlottesville, and to honor farm operators from the counties comprising the District for outstanding achievements in conservation practices.
The District Includes these counties: Culpeper, Madison, Greene, Orange, Rappahannock and part of Fauquier. Supervisor' L. W. Kipps of Madison presided and Gen. Daniel Noce of Rappahannock was master of ceremonies. The other Supervisors of the District are T. G. Ragsdale, Culpeper; J. P.
