After that, iodine should be applied to the ringworm, but it must not get into th§ ani- r mal’s eyes. ' Animals with ringworm should be removed from the " herd, and if possible the unaffected animals should be kept out of contaminated sheds. Then the quarters should be scrubbed and disinfected in an attempt to eliminate the organisms. Calves should be watched closely for the first signs of ringworm.
