wltn music and a film was shown concerning the eye bank A homemade cake was sold at a Chinese auction., bringing $3 0.15 and Rappahannock apples and cider were sold to raise funds. The film showed the wonderful work being done with cornea transplants on blind patients and the experiments being carried on with artificial eye tissue. People may donate their eyes to the eye bank while they are living and at their death their eyes will be given to the bank and transplanted to a blind patient, that that blind person may see again. After much research and experimentation, cornea transplants are very successful.
