vert the operators’ license files, as the change-over to avoid inconvenience to the public would be made on a monthly basis as the present licensed drivers apply for a renewal of their driving permits. Drivers whose permits expire on January 31, 1964, upon receiving notice of expiration of license, will receive a punch card application rather than the familiar paper application heretofore used. All of the branches and agencies of the Division of Motor Vehicles will maintain a supply of the new type of application forms which will be made readily available to the public. A representative of the company furnishing the new equipment stressed that the driving public could greatly aid the motor vehicle agency by presenting their applications for driving licenses legibly filled out and without being folded, torn, or otherwise mutilated.
