Washington Auxiliary Makes Donation To Firemen, Rescue Squad
At the regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company held Monday, January 6,yearly dues were paid by those present. Mrs. Marietta Cheatham, Treasurer, wishes to remind the women of the Washington area that they may send dues of $1.20 to her and become inactive members but it is greatly desired that they become active members. A reminder is also made to 'keep the Spring Rummage Sale in mind and save salable articles for this propose. At this meeting the yearly contribution to the Fire Company and Rescue Squad was decided upon which was $680 to the Fire Company and $300 to the Rescue Squad.
