Holds Annual Meet
The annual meeting of Rappahannock Home Mutual Fire insurance Company was held Saturday, January 11, 1964, in the Court House in Washington.
Insurance in force December 31, 1962 was $3,598,370. Amount written in 1963 was $376,500. and that which was cancelled the same year was $203,250. Total insurance in force at close of 1963 was $3,771,620. Officers elected were C. E. Johnson, Jr., President; Robert L. Brown, Vice-President D. D. Miller, Sec’y-Treasurei; Directors are L. R. Hudson, Robert L. Brown, C. E. Johnson, Jr., D. L. Miller, Jr., J. P. Cook, J. Richard Latham and L. J. Kilby. . There are 513 policy holders in the company which is the oldest co-operative in the county, dating back to 1875.
