To Expand Here The Board at Directors of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company of Virginia, at Its regular monthly meeting held on December 27, appropriated over $11,036,250 for expanding and Improving communications services InC&P's operating area. Included in this month's appropriations Is a sum of $75,000 for two projects In the Culpeper exchange. A sum of $42,000 will used for th'e Installation of dial equipment that calls for 150 lines and 300 terminals to be placed In operation with the completion of the new central office building under construction In Crlglersvllle. The total cost of this project Is $92,100. Also, $33,000 will be spent for a central office project In Culpeper. Some 460 lines and 200 terminals will be added to the present dial equipment to care for future telephone growth In the Culpeper exchange.
