The Flint Hill, Washington and Sperryville Fire Companies reported to a barn fire Saturday night at the Leonard Campbell home near Flint Hill. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad activities were as follows: Wednesday, January 29 Mary Allen taken from Sperryvillc to the University of Va. Hospital. Sunday, February 2, Mrs. George Alther from Sperryville to Warren Memorial Hospital. Jack Freeman to Warren Memorial Hospital. February 3, several victims of an automobile accident near Washington taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital for X-rays. Also on February 3, Lee Jackson taken from Scrabble to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Feb. 4, answered a call to Rock Mills, man lying on side of road, suffering from exposure. Wednesday, January 29 the Sperryville Fire Company answered a call to a field fire at the home of Mrs. Williamson in Woodville. Tuesday the same company went to a chimney fire at Robertson's in Boston.
