of farmers here in. the area and throughout the state, *Mr. Walker said. Following is a summary of loans made by Farmers Home Administration in the Culpeper ynit during the 1963 year. A total of $58,380 went to 20 farmers to pay for equipment, feed, seed, livestock, for other farm and home operating needs, and to refinance chattel debts. Farm ownership loans totaling about $62,720 were used by three farmers to enlarge,develop, and buy farms not larger than family size, and to refinance debts. Emergency loans amounting to an estimated $36,150 were made to seven farmers to assist in maintaining normal farming operations following the spring and summer drought.
