Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Estes had as their guests for dinner Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. J. P, Lillard of Madison, Edna LUlard and Woody Heflin, Culpeper, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. EsteS and daughter Kim. The dinner honored the fourth birthday of Kim Estes. Mrs. Kent Woolfolk spent some time in town Sunday and was accompanied to her home in Louisa by Miss Irene Keyser for an indefinite stay. Among the guests during the past week of Mrs. J. Harvey Daily were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rudasill of Limeton, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Powers, Martlnsburg, W. Va., Elder and Mrs. Hollle Redmon,„Mr. and Mrs. John Moore, Front Royal, Elder and Mrs. Philip Johnson and children of Strasburg. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Daily and family were Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Skeen of Palmyra, Mrs. Robert Frazier and daughter Miss Nancy Frazier of Brlghtwood. Guests later in the day were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Sutphin of Winchester, Mrs. L. L. Yates and daughters, Janet and Lois Yate, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Woodard, Miss Pattle Atkins and j Cathy Swain, Warrenton, Clarence Moyer, Luray, Mrs. Betty Martin of Shepherdstown, W. Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Ned Woodard. Mrs. Perle Coffey left on Monday to join Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jones and Mrs. Inez Muterspaugh in Alexandria for a trip to Woburn, Mass, where they were called by the death of a friend Joseph Romalne. The funeral service was held on Wednesday. Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison, who is attending the University of Virginia spent Friday and Saturday in town visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. B. Johnson and brotherin-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Manuel and family of Browntown were guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin and children of W. Va. were guests on Sunday of their aunt Mrs. Gladys Anderson and sons. Mr. and Mrs. J. Rode8 Brown were in Luray Sunday to visit Mr. Brown’s aunt Mrs. Louise Brownton in the Luray Nursing Home.
