A number of traffic accidents ] were reported over the week- i end. Sunday afternoon a mile east of Ben Venue on Route 211 Margaret Elizabeth Elliott, 391 of Remington lost control of her 1958 Ford sedan on a curve, careened across the road and struck the bank. She was charged with reckless driving, according to Trooper K. L. Miller who investigated the accident. Reid Burke of Amissville, a passenger in the car sustained lacerations of the chin and contusions of the chest. Beulah A. Johnson, of Remington, also a passenger, received multiple contusions of the legs and chest. Both were admitted to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. Trooper P. P. Dicks investigated an accident at 7:30p.m. Sunday night near Chester Gap on Route 522. Frances Mae Williams of Chester Gap driving a 1963 Ford made a left turn into Reager’s Store and was struck by Harry Emmet Johnson of Charlottesville driving a 1962 Ford. Damage to the Williams car was estimated at $15 and to the Johnson vehicle $175. Mrs. Shirley Pullen of Flint Hill wrecked her Pontiac Morv day night as she came from the Resettlement Road onto Fodderstack Road and failed to make the turn at the intersection, striking the bank, according to Trooper P p Dicks.
