John Wade Frazier

John Wade Frazier, age 91 years, died on Friday night, March 27, 1964 at the residence of his son and daughter in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Frazier of Griffinsburg, Va. He was ill for more than two weeks with pneumonia and died at his home following hospitalization at the Culpep er Memorial Hospital. He was bom in Rappahannock County on August 31, 1872, and spent most of his life upon the farm. He retired from active farm life following the death of his wife, the late Alberta Woodward Frazier. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Fincham and Mrs. Annie Bawkey of Culpeper and three sons, Elmer and James Frazier of Culpeper and Ellis Frazier of Boston. 16 grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted on Sunday afternoon from the Geest Funeral Chapel by Elder Clarence Frazier of the Primitive Baptist Church, with Interment in the Fairview cemetery. Pallbearers consisting of nephews were Ellis Frazier Jr., Cleveland, Stanley and Bernard Frazier, Roy Fincham and John Bawkey
