Brenda Kay Payne
A graveside funeral service was held at Masonic Cemetery in Washington Wednesday, April 1 for the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reid Payne of Flint Hill, the Rev. Arnold Sorrells officiating. Brenda Kay was born Thursday, March 26, 1964 in the Warren Memorial Hospital and died on Tuesday, March 31.
Mrs. M. D. Cooke
Mrs. Mary Bolen Cooke, widow of Mortimer Daniel Cooke and a retired government employee, died Wednesday, March 25, 1964 at the Virginia Baptist Home, Culpeper. She was 78. She was a daughter of John Britton Bolen and Eliza Wade Rudasill, both of Rappahannock. Mrs. Cooke is survived by two si6ters. Miss Florence Bolen of Danville and Mrs. Lucy Christian! of Alexandria, and one brother, N. B. Bolen of Bealton. A funeral service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Amissville Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Cooke was a member, with the Rev. John B. Hodge and the Rev. Bernard LeSuer officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

G. Wayland. Miss Ellen Gore has returned to the U. of Va. in Charlottesville after spending several days with her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Gore.
