On Road Building
Richmond--W inte r restrictions on highway construction will be lifted this week, signalling the resumption of the biggest work program ever undertaken by the State Highway Department. Construction projects on the four road networks under state 'jurisdiction are currently valued at 261 million dollars, a record volume. This will be enlarged substantially during the spring and summer by virtue of the. acceleration in the new1 arterial four-lane highway de-| velopment, additional i n te rstate work and other projects financed by 27 million dollars in additional motorist tax revenue to become available after July 1.
