Applications Mailed

The Division of Motor Ve| hides has completed the mail| ing pf its 1964 motor vehicle S license applications. Commissioner C. H. Lamb announced today. Anyone who has not received his 1964 license plate application should get in touch with the Division of Motor Vehicles at once, he urged. Information including the 1963 license number, make of car, identification number as shown on the registration card, title number, and any change of address should be mailed to the Division of Motor Vehicles 2220 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia. A postal card is sufficient. Lamb stated that car owners should remember the new increased license plate fees, $15.00 for passenger cars 4,000 pounds and under and $20.00 for those weighing more than 4,000 pounds. He also stated that new motor vehicle title fees now in effect require a fee of $5.00. Notification to us now requesting license application can be promptly processed, and enable the car owner to avoid any inconvenience during the anticipated last minute rush before the deadline of April 15th.
