PINTS OF BLOOD
Fifty-nine donors presented themselves at the Red Cross Bloodmoblle at Trinity parish hall, Washington when the mobile blood unit paid a visit there Monday. Of this number 47 gave blood and 12 were rejected for various reasons, some few being above the recommended age limit. Fifteen pints of positive blood were given before noon and sent directly to Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, to be used in open heart surgery that afternoon. Among those giving blood was a group of first time donors, students from Rappahannock County High School with parental consent.
