Mrs. Lyle Atkins
Mrs. Barbara Christine Atkins , wife of Lyle Atkins of Sperryville, died Wednesday at University of Virginia hospital. Daughter of Lee and Thelma Atkins of Sperryville and a native of Rappahannock County, she was 38. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by seven children, Melvin, Barbara, Betty, Calvin, Shelby and Brenda Atkins; one sister, Mrs. Leanna* Wharton; two brothers, Bobby Wilson Atkins and James Andrew Atkins, all of Sperryville. A funeral service was held at 2 p. m. Friday at Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville, with Elder Wayne Richards officiating. Interment was in Sperryville Cemetery. Pallbearers wereCecile Atkins, Elmer Atkins, Burnam Atkins, Clyde Atkins, Joseph Atkins, Roy Leake, James Dodson and Roy Atkins. Geest Funeral Parlors, Culpeper, was in charge of arrangements.
Baron L. Jenkins
Baron Lloyd Jenkins, 71, died suddenly at his home in Narberth, Pa. on Saturday, April 18th. He was a son of the late James and Mildred Jenkins of Rappahannock. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Alice Jenkins of Narberth, twodaugtv ters, Miss Patricia Jenkins of the home address and Mrs. Anthony Russo ofHavertown, Pa; three brothers, Jerone and Ivan Jenkins of Culpeper and Dennis Jenkins of Sperryville. Also two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held from the Stretch Funeral Home Wednesday, April 22 with burial in the West Chester Cemetery.

Dulaney were Mrs. Hattie Gardiner of Rochelle and Mr. and Mrs. Powell Edwards of Arlington. Mrs. Ashby Wayland was the guest last week of Mrs. Louis Corbin.
