Sgt. and Mrs. James White and family of Arlington were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin White. Miss Eda Finks is on the sick list. Mrs. Woodrow Deal and son Gary on Sunday visited Mrs. Deal’s mother, Mrs. Margaret Marple, who is quite 1 sick in a West Virginia hospital.
Mrs. Edward Shrader and children of Arlington were Saturday visitors of her parens, Mr. and Mrs O. G. Mitchell.
Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Carpenter and family visited the O. G. Mitchells on Sunday. Mrs. Gilbert Weakley visited Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Hitt of Culpeper, Friday night. Miss Lee Updike spent several days recently with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Updike. Mrs. Robert Jonesnasaccepted a position with Leggetts Department store in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Riddle and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb with son Randy were Sunday callers of the Harry Gallihughs and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb and son Randy spent the week-end at their home here. They were joined for dinner on Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Riddle. Miss Judy Updike returned home on Saturday after spending several days in Charlottesville where she took part in the Dogwood Festival activities. Judy represented Madison County.
