Skyverge Miss Iris Hutton and Miss Carrie Ball of Palls Church. Dr. and Mrs. F. Beattie of McLean and Mrs. E. G. Dexter enroute from her winter home in Florida to her home in Milton, N. Y. were callers on Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rees, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Setnan and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hazen of Minnesota are expected on Monday for a visit of several days. Mrs. Setnan and Mrs. Hazen are nieces of Mr. Rees. Mrs. B. R. Armel is a patient In the Fauquier County Hospital. She is reported to be improving satisfactorily and expects to be home by the end of the week. M/Sgtw and Mrs. George E. Terry and family of Hampton were the week-end guests of Mr. Armel and with other members of the family visited Mrs. Armel daily at the hospital.

Quaintance and sister Miss Elsie Ramsey attended a Baptismal Service at the Culpeper Baptist Church. Mrs. Quaintance’s grandson Rupert Wilson Quaintance, III, son of Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Quaintance of Culpeper was one of the 15 candidates for baptism. Miss Patty Faye' Wood of Alexandria spent last week with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier of Reva. Their son-in-law and daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Sol Schneider of Silver Spring, Md. were Saturday visitors. Mrs. Tidler's sister Mrs. Chester Weaver was a Sunday over-night guest in the Tidier home. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart H. Butler of Havenhill are leaving the latter part of this week for an extended western trip.
Mrs. Brice Biggers has received word of the death of her sister Mrs. Florence Croom of Atlanta, Ga. after a long illness.
Miss Disa Howe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Howe of La Grande will spend this week-end with her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dave had Mr. and Mrs. Baker Woodward and children of Reva a6 guests Sunday afternoon. Later they all visited Mr. Woodward’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Woodward of Banco.
Saturday guests of Mrs. R. W. Quaintance and Miss Elsie Ramsey were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Foglesong of Charles ton, W. Va. and daughter Susie of Charlottesville.
