Summer Festival

There will be a Summer Festival at the Rappahannock County Community Center Fr4 day, August 14 from 8 p. m. on. Music by the Dynamics of Front Royal. Admission 50d. Refreshments. Sponsored by the Junior Ushers First Baptist Church.

Record Hop

There will be a record hop at the Community Center on August 7, 1964 for the benefit of the Rappahannock County Community Center. Music will be by Hank Johnson.

Washington Lawn Party

A Lawn Party will be held Saturday, August 8, beginning at 7 o’clock at the home erf Mrs. Edward H. Bailey near Washington for the benefit of the Rappahannock County Com munity Center. Refreshments.

Hopewell Lawn Party

A Lawn Party will be held at the Hopewell Baptist Church |on August 8 from 6 p. m. until.Everyone is invited. There will be refreshments on sale. Benefit of the Improvement Fund.

Building Fund Social There will be a grab-bag Social at the home of John R. Summons August 14, starting at 7 o’clock, benefit of the Promised Land Baptist Church Building Fund. All are Invited to come and make this event a sucess. Refreshments will be on sale.

Broilers Broiler prices should average above levels of last year during the next few weeks, bui no increases above current levels are expected. Currently broiler prices are running about a cent higher than the same time last year, but prices are about 1 1/2 cents below a month ago. Nationally supplies for the next two weeks should about equal the comparable weeks of last year with very slight increases expected to follow. Farm prices last week were 14-14 1/2 cents in Virginia, and 15-15 3/4 cents in Del Mar Va.
