OBITUARIES
Mehrin R. Riley
Melvin Richard Riley of Brandy Station died Sunday, July 26, 1964, at his residence following a sudden illness. Son of the late James William Riley and Nancy J. Smoot, his wife, and a native of Rappahannock County, he was 48. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Beulah Mae Woodward; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Jenkins of Manassas, Mrs. Warren Welch of Manassas Park, and Miss Nancy Riley at home; four sons, Charles Richard Riley and David Riley, both of Manassas, James H. Riley and Teddy F. Riley, both at home; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Butler of Culpeper, and two brothers, Robert Riley of Gaithersburg, Md., and Lee Riley of Glennell, Md. A funeral service was held Tuesday at the Geest funeral chapel in Culpeper, the Rev. Clem A. Walters tfficiating. Interment was made in Sperryviile Cemetery. Pallbearers were Russell Jones, Forrest Mills, Melvin Daniels, Dencll Canfield, Clyde Richard Wood ward, Sammy Woodward and Milton Woodward.
