Johnsons Announce
Name of Restaurant
From the fifty odd names submitted for their restaurant in Washington, Va., Mr. and Mrs. James C. Johnson have selected “The Docnell Restaurant” as their final choice. This name was sent in by Mrs. George J. Bently of Washinton, D. C. and Washington, Va. Mrs. Bently will receive $10 in meals at the restaurant In her letter to the Johnsons, Mrs. Bently said, “We own Ash Tree Farm just outside of Washington, Va. and have enjoyed some mighty good meals at that restaurant. With best wishes for a very big success in your new project. Sincerely, Mrs. George J. Bentley. There were many clever names submitted and a decision was difficult to make. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were delighted with the interest shown by so many in the contest and expressed their appreciation for all of the names sent in. At “Docnell Restaurant” the Johnsons specialize in Old Vi* ginia Ham and home made pies.
Bolyards Honored With Farewell Dinner
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard of Washington were guests of honor at a farewell dinner Tues day night at Rappahannock County High School. Mr. Bolyard, who has been a member of the high school faculty staff for seven years has resigned to accept a position with Potomac State College, Keyser, W. Va. The dinner was given by fellow faculty members and the Bolyards were presented a gift. H. B. Winfrey, principal of the school and O. A. Norton, Superintendent of Schools made short talks expressing their regret at losing Mr. Bolyard, and expressing apprecia tion for the fine service giyen by him the past seven years. Mr. Bolyard will be head basketball coach at Potomac and will teach courses in Health, physical education, re creation and first aid.
