Guests during the week of Commander and Mrs. Harold Davis were: on Wednesday Mrs. Wiley Lyons and sister Miss Elaine Simmons of New Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. James Evans and daughter Dale of Birmingham, Alabama. On Sui> day, Mr. and Mrs. William Linden and son William, Jr. of Arlington. A recent week-end guest of the Davis' was the former American consul to Santo Domingo, Mr. George Emmitt Chewning. Bradley Pullen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Pullen fell last Tuesday when the ladder slipped while reparing a roof. He was taken to Warren Memorial hospital for treatment of a broken ankle. A cast was applied and he returned to his home. His condition is satisfactory.
The Rev. and Mrs. C. T. Palmore were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. David Williams. Visiting 'the same home on Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Silek of Granite City, Illinois. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Williamson Sunday were Mrs. Louie Melbourne and family of Purcellville, Mrs. Pearl Mills, Tamara Harris and Stevie North of Huntly, Joe Ellen and Bonnie North of Flint Hill and Mrs. Rose Mae Riell, Gary and Keven Reill of Danville. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daniels and daughter spent the weekend of July 25th with Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams.
