Mrs. Johnson Recovering From Broken Hip
Mrs. Florence Johnson of Woodville returned to her home Tuesday from Culpeper Memorial Hospital where she has been a patient for two weeks. Mrs. Johnson, who is 96 years old, had pneumonia and while still ill fell in the bathroom of her home and broke her hip. She underwent surgery and a plate and pin were put in her hip. For eight days she was very ill. However, as her doctor said, she's a wirey old lady, they don’t make them like this anymore, and she had recovered sufficiently to return to Woodville Tuesday to the/- home of her son C. B. Johnson and Mrs. Johnson.
FFA Bake Sale
The F.H.A. of Rappahannock County High School will hold a Bake Sale at LEA’s Store, Saturday, October 30, beginning at 9 a. m. There will be cakes, pies, and cookies. A good place to buy for the trick-treaters.

On Friday the Rappahannock Rescue Squad took John Richard Turner from the scene of an accident 'in Washington to Dr. Snead’s office for treatment.
On Friday Clarence Jenkins was taken by the Squad from his home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Tuesday they were called to take Mrs. H. H. Aylor from her home in Sperryville to the Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Amissville Rescue Squad took Maggie Grayson from the home of Floyd Sanders to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton on Sunday morning.
