At the Third Fall Feeder Calf Sale at Madison Livestock Market, Inc. at Madison Mills, October 22, 1,275 head were sold with buyers present from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, and Iowa, in addition to local cattlemen. With a top price of $28.00, sales rang up a tally of $155,000.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries on October 15, 1965 adopted the following change in its Regulations.
Amended Regulation 7 (a) to read as follows: 7 (a) It shall be unlawful to hunt with a dog or to have in possession a strung bow, or a gun which is not unloaded and cased or dismantled, in the National Forests and on Commission owned lands, "except during the periods when authorized seasons are in effect for hunting on these areas, or by permit issued by the Commission.
This shall become effective November 15, 1965.
