Celebrates Birthday
Robert (Bobby ) Bennett cele brated his second birthday on October 17 at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Bennett in Boston. Present for the party were William Atkins and daughter of Bethesda, Md; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Bennett of Arlington, Emerson Bennett of Alexandria; John Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Bennett and daughter of Boston; Mrs. Virgie M. Atkins, Mrs. Frank L. Atkins, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Estes and Miss Kathy Alther, all of Sperryville.
Mrs. Snead Entertains Bridge Club
The Sperryville Bridge Club met on Friday evening with Mrs. John P. Snead, Jr. Those present were Mrs. I, O. Wolf, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance, Mrs. E. N. Montague, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs Fred Schaefer, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. Elmo Flynt and Mrs. V. E. Goddard. Score prizes were won by Mrs. Quaintance, Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Schaefer and Mrs. Thompsen. Fire Flail Sunday afternoon. Those present were Rhonda, Donna, Ricky, Diane and Arnold Williams, Stevie, Micky and Shirley North, Tammy Harris, Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Mrs. Pearl Mills, Mrs. Ada North and Mrs. Minnie Williams.
