Mrs. Rachael Davis of Flint Hill sustained injuries and was hospitalized for several days as the result of a single vehicle accident which occurred Saturday on Route 522 in Warren County. She has been a patient in the hospital in Front Royal. Mrs. Davis lost control of her vehicle, a 1963 Chevy II, hurdled down an embankment and was thrown from the car. Injuries were multiple bruises and abrasions and a chipped bone in her shoulder. The car was a total loss. Minor injuries resulted in a two-car collision on Route 522 December 3, two miles east of Sperryville. Injured were iElaine Roberta Sisk of Sperry ville who sustained contusions !of the forehead; Martha B. Harris, also Sperryville, had lacerations of the face; Gene Autry M e r e d i t h, Woodville, with lacerated lip. Roger Lee Shifflett of Stanardsville, operating a 56Chev rolet was proceeding west on Route 522 when he slowed to ■ make a turn. He was struck in the rear by Gene Autry Meredith of Woodville operating a 64 Chevrolet which was owned by Edward Meredith, accord■ ing to Trooper J. B. Willis,

Shifflett was charged with defective lights and Meredith was charged with failing to maintain control of his vehicle Damage was estimated at $400 to the Shifflett vehicle and $600 to the Meredith car.
