A chapel service was heldfor him in Chicago bv the Masonic members of William McKinley Lodge No. 875 AF& AM, of which he was a member. A funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Geest Funeral Chapel by the Rev. William A. Harrison, pastor of Reynolds Memorial Baptisl Church, Sperryville, and interment was in the Sperryville Cemetery.

Mrs. Mabel F. Benton
Mrs. Mabel Field Benton, 85, of Eggbornville, Culpeper County, died December 1, 1965 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. She was the daughter of the late Richard Y. and Annie Smith Field. She ‘is survived by one son Edwin Field Benton of Middlesboro, Ky.; three daughters Mrs. Link Brooking, Orange, Mrs. Maurice Wilder, Portsmouth and Mrs. C. T. Dickerson of Staunton; one brother, Edwin N. Fieldof Culpeper and several grandchildren. A graveside funeral service was held Friday at the Crooked Run Baptist Church Cemetery, Locust Dale, with the Rev. Flovd Binns officiating.
