Dear Editor: Some people are “Down On The Farm" so far they do not know the existing circum-j stances in some communities. Sperryville already has its dump on Main Street. The Thornton River acts as a garbage, sewage and trash disposal.
The Water Control Board! states that it is up to our County Health Department to clean up the river, but the Health Department says that it is up to the Water Control Board. It was clearly pointed out at the zoning meeting, the present would stand as is, it was to deal with future problems.
House - trailers and junk yards are not as unsightly as what will be seen when you cross the bridge leading to, or from the Sperryville Elementary School.
