When you’re selecting toys for the children’s Christmas keep the safety factor in mind, says the Virginia Rural Safety Council. For small children, two and under, toys should be simple, soft, and washable. Stuffed animals, blocks, push and pull toys which meet these require ments are good selections. As the child grows older he will like larger stuffed animals. Brightly colored books, beads for stringing, and blocks are popular with the two to three year old.
