Daylight Time
Warren and Rappahannock Public School officials announced this week that beginning Monday, April 24, all schools in the Division will operate on Daylight Saving Time. This change in time result^ ed from a ruling by Attorney General Button that the newly enacted Federal law takes pre cedence over State law. Earlier, the Virginia General Assembly had enacted a DST law which required that daylight time begin on the Sunday after Memorial Day. Daylight time for Virginia will extend from the last Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October.
