urday afternoon at Stephens City. Mr. and Mrs-. Joe Bowers of Front Royal were visitors Saturday night of Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey. Mrs. Stanley Williams entered Warren Memorial Hospital Monday for X-rays,and treatment. Lloyd Campbell has returned to work at the American Viscose plant after a year’s absence due to ill health. Visitors of Mr. and MVs. Campbell and Piggy on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Campbell of Frederick, Md. and Eston Campbell anddaugh ter of Alexandria.

Mrs. Davis Entertains

With Bridge Party

Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. entertained two tables of the Washington Bridge Club Thurs day evening at her home on Gay Street. Prizes were won by Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller. Others playing were Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. Henry M. Keyser, Mrs. W. F. Moffett and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith.
