SC A Division Meeting
In Sperryville
A Student Cooperative Association Division Meeting of W a r r e n-Rappahannock Elementary Schools was held at\ the Sperryville school on Friday, April 15. Approximately 100 delegates from-grades 4 through 7 of all elementary schools in the two counties attended the all day event. Division president Bobbi Jo Foster of the Sperryville school presided at the meeting and devotions were given by Otterburn School. Mary Frances Jenkins of Sperryville welcomed delegates and guests. A response was made by E. Wilson Morrison School with an invitation for the next meeting to be held there. Bob Carney, S.C.A. president of Warren County High School, spoke to the group on the role of the S.C.A. in the High School and entertainment was furnished by Sperryville students. After a business session, an act on Self Improvement was given by a Sperryville group; a play on Honor presented by A. S. Rhodes School and Relationships was featured by Washington Elementary School. Page Moffett, president of Rappahannock County High School S.C.A. made a talk on the obligations of a Student Cooperative Association and progress and benefits which could be derived from such a group. Chorus and group singing were also features of the program, which adjourned in the early afternoon.
