Sunday with Mrs. C. G. Reid. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and two daughters Carol and Martha of Orange were the week-end guests of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher. Week-end guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Campbell of Luray. Mr. and Mrs. Field Benton and son Hugh left Sunday morning for their homes in Middlesboro, Ky. after spending several days with the Mil lers. Wade Wallihan Massie, Mike Massie and Mary Brooke Massie returned to their home Hampden Hall Sunday after spending the week with Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. Trooper and Mrs. W. A. Bunt in and daughter Miss Nancy Buntin spent the weekend in Danville. Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Lindenblad and three children, Eric, Kristina and Ambler, of Ridge wood, N. J. are expected to arrive Friday at the home of Mrs. Lindenblad’s brotherin-law and sister Mr. and Mrs W. Arthur Miller. Dr. Gordon will return home after spending the week-end and rejoin his family the following weekend for their return home after spending the week at Mt. Prospect.
Miss Frances Wood was ill last week at Sunny side the home of her mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood and returned to school in Staunton the first of this week. Luncheon guests on Wednesday of last week of Miss Anne Miller Almond were Miss Evelyn Norment and Mrs. Douglas Evans of Herndon.
