A four -car collision in Rappahannock County Sunday evening claimed the lives of three people. Two of the victims died instantly in the crash and a third succumbed the following day. The wreck occurred about 7;50 p.m. on Route 211 4 1/2 miles east of Washington, Virginia. Dead at the scene were Joseph Albert Dentz, Jr., 27, of Alexandria andhis nine-month old son Mark Albert Dentz. Thomas William McFarland, 21, of Sperryville diedMonday morning in Fairfax Hospital. Trooper J. B. Willis said his investigation of the crash disclosed that William Sisk, 20, of Manassas, operating a 65 Chevelle, was heading west on Route 211 when he failed to negotiate a curve and slammed into a line of eastbound traffic. The Chevelle first struck the left rear of a 1961 Rambler driven by Ruth Jane Kronberg of Worcester, Mass. The occupants of the Rambler were not injured. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $250. The Chevelle continued on, next striking a 65 Volkswagen in the front and entire left side. This vehicle, operated by Joseph Dentz, received the brunt of the impact, and was thrown backwards down an embankment after hitting and uprooting a 6 x 6 highway post. The Sisk Chevelle proceeded on, hitting a third vehicle, a 64 Oldsmobile station wagon operated by Jennings Clark Gollehon of Salt Lake City, Utah, striking it in the front, then came to rest upside down and partially on top ot the Olds. Evewitnesses declared that Sisk rounded the curve at a high r^fte of speed over the center line and struck the oncoming traffic. The deceased William McFarland was a pas(C-ontinued
