Byrne Walter and son, Ronald, of Warrenton were visitors Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley and Mrs. J. L. Walter. Mr. and Mrs. William Fruchting of Miami Springs, Fla. are the guests this week of Capt. and Mrs. Glen H. Lathrop. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Dean at their home Elva Acres were Mrs. W. H. Wood and children Ricki, Tommi and Lori of Annandale, Tracey and Kelly Harvey of Springfield and Mrs. Ida Byrne and Mrs. Marie Hilleary, both of Arlington. Visitors Sunday of the Deans were Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Norfolk of Alexandria and their houseguests from California, Mr. and Mrs. Payne. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Estes of Arlington and their grandson Roger Estes of Seat Pleasant, Md. were, guests Thursday t>f Mrs.; Raynriond Poe. On Friday Mrs. Walter Estes and son Roger visited the Poes. Roger Estes, who is serving with the U. S. Army, has completed basic training in Georgia. He is spending a furlough with his family and will be stationed in Oklahoma when he returns to duty. Mrs. Eva Smith of Flint Hill, accompanied by Miss June Jordan of Washington, were visitors Saturday evening of Mrs. C. M. M. Green. Mrs. Charlie Compton and Mrs. Peggy Bowen accompanied by Mrs. Thelma Rosenberger of Jeffersonton spent Monday in Winchester. Mrs. Thurston Semones returned to her home Thursday from Fauquier Hospital where she had been a surgical patient.
