William McFarland

Funeral services for Thomas William McFarland of Sperryville were conducted at 2;00 o’clock Wednesday from the Geest Funeral Chapel with Rev. B. Gayle Titchenell, pastor of the Woodville Baptist Church officiating. His death occurred Monday, April 18th, 1966, at the Fairfax Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an auto - mobile accident which occurred Sunday. He was 21 years of age and the son of Willie and Lois Leake McFarland of Sperryville. Besides his parents he leaves three sisters, Mrs. Betty Grigsby of Woodville; Mrs. Peggie Tharpe of Amissville and Joan McFarland at home; two brothers, James Lewis and Eugene Snead McFarland at home. Also surviving are his grandparents, J. Thomas and Lille Leake of Sperryville and Mrs. Novella Horton of Culpeper. The following served as pallbearers, Edward, Charles, Bobby and John Lloyd Jenkins, Thomas and James Leake, Wayne Corbin and Richard Compton.
