Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Fincham of Remington were Friday evening callers of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Fincham. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Thornhill and family were Sunday morning callers of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill and Mrs. Lucy Thornhill. Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Weaver were Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier of Boston and their grandson Jimmy Knieff of Silver Spring, Md. Also Mrs. Weaver’s sisters Mrs. Julia Carver of Culpeper and her houseguests Mrs. John J. Casey and her niece Mrs. Raymond Moats of Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Jr. and children of Herndon were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Butler. Their son Maurice Lee Butler of Alexandria is spending a week’s vacation with them. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Butler and family, Mrs. Olive Butler and Linwood Smith were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Butler and family of Culpeper. Mrs. Olive Butler remained for a visit of several days.
