present to discuss a dump for the Amissville area were Jimmy Colvin and Eddie Hitt, representatives of Amissville Ruritan Club, who were encouraged to ferret out a possible location in that area with the assurance the Board would back their action. The purchase of blankets for the jail was approved by the Board and Ernest Lillard, custodian, was authorized to obtain them. A letter from Flint Hill Fire Department was read stating their appreciation for the coun ty fire school held in October which was financed by the county and state. A complete report on the school was made by school director Paul Poling of Amissville. He stated that total enrollment of the schbolwae 52 wfth"43 receive ing certificates. Garden Club To See Wild Flower Slides
The Rappahannock Garden Club will hold its meeting Wednesday, November 16 at Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Washington at 2 p.m. An interesting program is planned by Program Chairman Mrs. W.R. Williamson. Miss Jane Roller of Washington, D.C. will show slides of Wild Flowers.
