Local Teachers Attend V. E. A. Conference
Mrs. I. O. Wolf and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. of the Rappahannock County High School and Mrs. T. M. Johnston of Sperry ville Elementary were Delegates from the Rappahannock Teachers Association attending the V,E.A. Convention held jlaw Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Mosque in Richmond. Supt. of School O. A. Norton and Robert Leonard, Director of Instruction were also in attendance.
Rappk. Ambulance Fund Drive Progressing
The Fund for a new ambulance for the Rappahannock Rescue Squad is growing but additional contributions are necessary to make it a success. Please mail or give your contribution to Mrs. W. A, Miller as soon as possible for the purchase of the greatly needed new ambulance. Those contributing to date for the sum of $1,035.59 are Miss Annie Stephenson, Harry C.
