Heifer Bangs Vaccinations Lagging: The third quarterly report for 1966 from the Division of Animal and Dairy In dustry shows Rappahannock cattlemen have had but 42% of their heifers vaccinated against Brucellosis or Bang's disease throught August. In past years the percentage has run 90%-100% in a year. Why slip so far? Letfe get going cattlemen. Only 387 Soil Samples were tested at the VPI soils laboratory for our farmers last year. This is less than one sample per farm according to the 1959 farm census. Here is a tool that costs nothing which can definitely reduce costs for those concerned with profit making.
