will bring that much pleasure to the school in India this year. Last week Mr. Wingfield announced the attendance figures for the month of October. The high home room was Mrs. Marshall's 9th Grade boys with an average of 97.73% The best class average was the Freshman Class with an average of 96.13%. The worst class average was the Junior Class (for shame!) which end ed up with a 93.30% average. Some of these attendance scores are very good but they could be better. Remember good attendance is a responsibility of all students. It has a bearing on school work now and your success in the future Monday Miss Younger was absent from school because of illness. We are glad that she is better now and back with us. The teacher’s profile this week is that of Mr. James ^Wilbur' Adkins. Mr. Adkins’ ►was born in Red Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. After attending Greenville High School in Greenville, West Virginia, he went to Concord College at Athens, West Virginia, and was graduated from there with a B. S. degree in Mathematics and Physics. Mr Adkins and his wife Louise have four children, Barry, aged 9,; Kevin, aged 7; Aleth^ 5 and Lavonne Gay, 21/2. Mr. Adkins’s interests are a study of the Bible and the Ministry. At Rappahannock he teaches Mathematics and Physics. He resides in Washington, Virginia.
