Fore, Jr.
P. Winfree Fore, jr., 45, prominent Culpeper business man, died early Sunday, Dec. 18, 1966 In Culpeper Memorial Hospital, following a heart attack. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday from St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. John Jordan officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper^ with vestrymen of St. Stephen’s as pallbearers. Mr. Fore and his father were jpartners in Culpeper Motor Company. A graduate of University of Richmond, he served with the army in the Pacific theater in World War II. He was a past president of Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce and of Culpeper Rotary Club; a vestryman and past senior warden of St. Stephen's, and a director of Jefferson Savings and Loan Association. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Green Fore; two sons P. Winfree, III and James Green Fore; two daughters, Elizabeth McNeale and Catherine Duff Fore; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Fore of Culpeper, and an aunt, Mrs H, E. Merritt of Lenoir, N, C,
