Ennis D. Pullen

Ennis Daniel Pullen, 63, of Sperryville died December 19 1966 at the home of Mrs. Sadie Pullen. He was the son of the late John P. Pullen and Ann Jordan Clark Pullen of Rappahannock County, who had 13 children. The only remaining survivor is one brother, Robinson Pullen of Slate Mills. A graveside funeral service was held /Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memory Gardens on Route 229. The Rev. Dott Bryan, pastor of Slate Mills Baptist Church, officiated.

R. M. Menefee

Robert Mercer Menefee, 64, died Friday, December 16, 1966, in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Formerly of Sperryville, he had recently made his home in Culpeper. He was born at Hawlin, Rappahannock County, son of the late Robert M. and Bertha Smith Menefee. Mr. Menefee is survived by two sons, Robert M. Menefee, Jr., of Alexandria and Edward Lynn Menefee, a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tenn., and a daughter Sandra Menefee of Arlington. Also two sisters, Mrs. M. P. Watkins, Jr. of Richmond and Mrs. John Revercomb of Culpeper. A funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer officiating. Interment was in Fait view Cemetery, Culpeper. Pallbearers were W. Arthur Miller, C. J. Miller, Jr., T. C. Lea, Jr., J. W. Fletcher, W. J. Smith, Jr., D. D. Miller, Robert F. Estes and Henry L. Miller.
