the weekend at their hoim near Slate Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dennis of Alexandria and Mr., and Mrs. Warren Dennis and lankily of Falls Church were Sunday dinner guests of the Ret. W. B. Dennis. Sunday afternoon Richard Dennis and daugh ter of Culpeper Joined the rest of the family. Carter White left Monday morning to visit his brothers Hartwell and Wade White and their families in Fork Union. Pvt. Edward B. Dorsey, sdn of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey, is home for the Christ mas holidays. He has to return to the Medical Training Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, on January 2. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Easterday and two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gaines ahd Glenn Shelton, all of Alexandria were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gaines. Their weekend guests were their son and daughter-inlaw Mr. and Mrs. John Gaines of Fairfax. The Gaines' Sun^ day dinner guests were their sons and daughters-in-law Mr and Mrs. Billy Gaines and daughter Vickie of Falls Church and Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Gaines and family of Slate Mills.
