Miss Cobert Engaged
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Cobert of Hawthrone House, Slate Mills, announce the engagement of their daughter, Carol Lynn, to Earle Stewart Dashiell, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Stewart Dashiell of Fair winds on the Severn, Severna Park, Md. Miss Cobert, a 1962 graduate of Culpeper County High School, attended Radford College two years and was graduated from Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia with a B. A. degree in art. At Radford she was a member of the German Club and of Alpha Sigma Tau social SQrority. she is teaching elementary art in the William Ramsay School, Alexandria. Mr. Dashiell, Jr. was graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1963 with a B. S. degree in English. He will receive his D.D.S. degree in June from the University of Maryland Dental School at Baltimore. He has served with the U. S. Air Force, Air National Guard and is an officer in the U. S. Naval Reserve. A June wedding is planned.
