Mrs. F. L. Bowey spent Thursday in Arlington. Miss Annie Cooksey of Washington, Va. was a dinner guest Friday of Mrs. Kthel Cooksey and Mrs. Annie Latham. Mrs. A. C. Latham was a dinner guest Thursday in the Cooksey home, and Mrs. G. H. Dennis visited them Wednesday. Mrs. c. D. Green of Warrenton visited her mother Mrs. Hugh Riley Monday. Mrs. Athey Nicholson is a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. Mrs. C. M. M. Green has returned to her home after spending a week with her sonin-law and daughter Mr and Mrs. D. D. Miller Jr. in McLean.
T. W. Latham returned to his home Saturday after being hospitalized for a week in Win Chester Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heflin and children and Mrs. W. W. Walter of The Plains were visitors last Wednesday of Mrs. Frank Walter.

RICHMOND, VA., Jan. 5, 1966--During 1966^ seventeen new research and development firms announce plans to locate in Virginia and seventeen research and development facilities a n n o u n c e d expansion plans. Fxpected employment f®r the new facilities is approximately 900 and expansion of existing facilities will afford an increase of about 500.
