Injured in Crash
Steve Baldwin of Washington, Va. sustained a compound fracture of his left leg when he was involved in a traffic crash Thursday, June 15. He is a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital. The accident occurred on Rt. 626 a mile and eight tenths south of Washington. Also involved in the collision but not injured, was Joseph D. Keyser of Washington, Va. operating a 63 lord. He was coming onto the road from a hayfield as Baldwin, riding a a Honda motorcycle, approach ed town. The motorcycle struck the front of the lord, ran into the ditch then back across the road and overturned.
Baldwin was taken to Winchester Hospital by Rappahannock Rescue Squad where he remains a patient. The car was not damaged and the Honda damage was estii it $50, according to Trooper Haul Dicks.
